    Full-Stack Software Engineer

    Challenge Group · Cairo, Egypt

    • Full-stack engineer at Challenge Group — an AWS/Huawei Cloud partner delivering production platforms for government and enterprise clients across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
    • Owned the Make it in the Emirates Awards platform (MoIAT) for the UAE Ministry of Industry & Advanced Technology from schema to deploy — domain-driven Next.js/NestJS modules over a PostgreSQL/Prisma schema serving 5,000+ concurrent users, with targeted indexing and query-tuning that cut API latency ~35% under production load.
    • Built the AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, Secrets Manager) and a container-first Docker → ECR → ECS pipeline (CodeBuild / CodePipeline), reducing deploys from ~20 minutes to under 5.
    • Hardened platforms with JWT authentication, RBAC, structured validation, and API hardening; added CloudWatch monitoring and structured logging, a full test pyramid (Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright), and SEO via SSR, structured metadata, and schema markup.
    • Built LawMate, an API-first Laravel legal-services platform (Filament admin, Sanctum, a Paymob wallet, and Reverb/Twilio real-time), and the Egyptian Schools League competition engine with real-time leaderboards.
    • Shipped a serverless WhatsApp AI support bot (AWS Lambda, Amazon Lex, Twilio), hardened the Sabeel mobile backend on AWS, and led the Eltanfeethi Azure delivery with Azure API Management and CI/CD.
