- Developed backend services for government and enterprise platforms serving 5,000+ concurrent users — domain-driven NestJS modules and Laravel APIs over PostgreSQL/Prisma and MySQL — applying targeted indexing and query tuning that cut API latency by ~35% under production load.
- Hardened API layers alongside the backend team with Sanctum/JWT authentication, RBAC, attribute-based routing, self-validating DTOs, and structured request validation across multiple products.
- Implemented transactional product workflows, including a request-and-bid marketplace flow with escalation handling and an in-app wallet supporting Paymob payments and withdrawals.
- Delivered real-time and messaging capabilities with the feature team: WebSocket chat (Laravel Reverb), voice/SMS via Twilio, FCM push notifications, S3-backed media storage, and bilingual (EN/AR) content.
- Contributed Next.js/React interfaces — onboarding and results-entry flows, role-based admin panels (Filament/Livewire), and live-updating leaderboards — to a shared, responsive component set maintained across the team.
- Provisioned and maintained cloud infrastructure with the DevOps team on AWS (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, Secrets Manager) and Azure (API Management).
- Helped move the team to container-first CI/CD — Docker → ECR → ECS via CodeBuild/CodePipeline — reducing deployment time from ~20 minutes to under 5.
